• When/What is your first encounter with the ANC that inspired your activism?

2010 I joined the ANC. The community encouraged me to participate as the work I did for my people. It only made scence. My work was now better recognized

1. In pursuit of making the ANC an effective tool of liberation in the hands of the people, what solutions and proposals will you take to Council?

• Mobalizing NPO and NGO strutures  to create skills development centers
• Sports and recreational center with diverse sports
• Encourage SMME’s to participate in the supply chain of the city
• Bringing Jozi at work initiatives back
• Skills development centers need to be monitored
• Talent groming centers (i.e theatre, stadium)
• Create a community collage

1. How have you positively contributed to this community?

Founded a football team ( Piano)

As a couch, I train the youth and ensure that they are very fit and never lazy.  When they are on training they get something to be busy with rather than doing nothing and leading them to taking rational decisions like being on drugs.

Assisting in after school programs , afternoon classes , this is when we assist learners with their homeworks as well as school projects.

Teach the elderly basic literacy

Assisting community with subside forb housing, as if not many people most of them are shot of proper shelters, so I assist in applying for RDP houses.

Assisting in community development and well being of living in the community, this includes being available when I am needed and assisting people that are facing problems within the community, problems can be family related or anything , if I can I assist and if I am unable I seek assistance very soon.

1. From the many successes of the ANC, what inspires you, [that the movement continues to champion perfectly], to continue with your activism?

It is the only organization that was consistanat in changing peoples lives. ANC represents the people as it is the peoples movement. It is our last hope and it ensures that people live a moderate life as it provides RDP houses to the citizens and bursaries for students so they can study courses of their choice for free.
